OUR PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Tiffany Miranda is an accomplished DJ, producer, engineer, singer, and the founder of the nonprofit organization Girls Make Beats. A Miami native, she began her career as a recording artist at age 15, appearing on shows like American Idol and X-Factor. After facing numerous challenges in the male-dominated music industry, Tiffany gained creative control by delving into music production and audio engineering.
In 2012, Tiffany founded Girls Make Beats (GMB) to empower young girls to become music producers, DJs, and audio engineers. She has established partnerships with industry giants like Apple, Spotify, and Facebook, as well as major record labels, to create exceptional opportunities for the girls in the program. This includes producing an official remix for Janet Jackson and leading initiatives that connect the girls with music industry professionals such as Janelle Monáe, Chloe x Halle, Tinashe, and Eve. Tiffany's work with GMB has been featured in Billboard, Rolling Stone, The Jennifer Hudson Show, GRAMMY.com, Good Morning America, and more.
